Although Willow put a little less into the atmosphere of the Conference this year, the overall experience was great. Last year there were street performers all around the lobby, and there were canvases for people to paint and add to throughout the conference. So I was curious to see what sorts of interactive experiences they’d have this year, but there wasn’t much of that aside from a nice Roland kiosk for you to play synth and drums.
The main sessions with Brian Mclaren and Richard Allen Farmer were my favorites. Here are some highlights:
Good stuff overall! I met tons of great people willing to share cab rides, ideas, rental cars, their work, and even VIP breakfast at the hotel! So thanks to all you folks.
And then more chances to use my newfound patience…
More weather // Waited on plane and in airport for 4 hours
Late Arrival // No way to contact anyone, no ride home
Nice people at baggage claim // Called home and got a ride
And now I’m off to buy a new cell phone!
