Speaking of Youtube…

The Host
So far my favorite movie this year. I’ve heard some reviewers say it doesn’t live up to the hype it’s been given. I disagree. I’m confident it will prove to be better than anything Hollywood cranks out this summer. Try to catch it in the theater before it’s gone. I saw it on Saturday and it’s already been put onto the small back theater.

Left Blank Due to Time Constraints

Sometimes the pace of life moves faster, other times it’s slower, and there are times when I don’t even acknowledge that there is a pace to life.

March was about half gone when I realized it was March. Thinking too much about how things will be better … and wondering if things will get better.

Today a co-worker made the comment to me that I must have met a girl because I was in too much of a good mood for it to possibly be my own doing. However, there are no ladies at the moment. I swear, I’m just in a good mood.

Harvie Krumpet

God bless the Sundance Channel. Random channel surfing during dinner tonight brought my Stepfather and I to Harvie Krumpet, an excellent animated short.

“Australian filmmaker Adam Elliot’s Oscar® winner for Best Animated Short Film tells the darkly comic biography of Harvie Krumpet, a nobody with perpetual bad luck. Harvie is a working-class Polish boy, diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome, who is ineptly home-schooled by his mother, giving him a twisted view of the world. From Australian immigration and marriage to parenting and old age, Elliot chronicles Harvie’s engrossing saga using stop-motion animation and a deadpan narrative delivered by Geoffrey Rush.”
